Our Story

Kalotina was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe. Her family lived the Tahoe life to the fullest. Her parents participated in every outdoor activity and Kalo is now passionate about sharing the authentic Tahoe experience.

Upon graduating from college Kevin moved to Tahoe only knowing he loved the outdoors. He worked at ski shops and golf courses (where he met Kalotina). Together they enjoyed their shared passion for snowboarding, kayaking, backpacking and all things outdoors, and in 2011 they bought Sunrise Ski and Snowboard Rental. They have two daughters, 7 and 4 years old and love sharing Tahoe adventures as a family.
